A meditation on lineage and feminine strength, this piece—with lyrics by soprano Takesha Meshé—traces the unbroken thread between daughter, mother, grandmother, and beyond. It honors the “power of four” as a living legacy—rooted in memory, nourished by wisdom, and glowing with the green fire of the heart. Through generations bound by love, patience, and justice, the voice becomes the bridge between past, present, and future. It is a celebration of ancestry, identity, and the blessings carried forward to the next generation.

Esta pieza es una meditación sobre el linaje y la fuerza femenina, con texto de la soprano Takesha Meshé, Four Generations (Cuatro generaciones) muestra el hilo ininterrumpido entre hija, madre, abuela y bisabuela. Honra el “poder de las cuatro” como una herencia viva—enraizada en la memoria, alimentada por la sabiduría y encendida por el fuego verde del corazón. A través de generaciones unidas por el amor, la paciencia y la justicia, la voz poética se convierte en el puente entre el pasado, el presente y el futuro.
