Oportunidad is one of the movements included in the suite Latin American Street Scenes. This piece is inspired by the people from Venezuela who migrated to Colombia searching for new opportunities. This movement is based on Colombian and Venezuelan folk music traditions using elements from the “pasillo” and the “joropo” styles.
 
Oportunidad es una pieza que hace parte de la suite Latin American Street Scenes (escenas de las calles latinoamericanas). Esta pieza está inspirada en la inmigración de venezolanos en Colombia y su búsqueda por nuevas oportunidades. La obra presenta una mezcla de ritmos como el pasillo y el joropo.
