Encuentros is a piece for trombone and piano commisioned and dedicated to Colombian trombonist Sebastian Cifuentes, who performed the world premiered in the United States at the International Trombone Festival on July 10th, 2019.
 
The esence of the piece brings a melancholic first movement as a symbol of solitud and introspection. The second movement expreses hope and  a happier intention .

Encuentros es una pieza para trombón y piano que fue comisionada y dedicada a el trombonista colombiano Sebastian Cifuentes, quien también hizo el estreno mundial en el International Trombone Festival en la Universidad Ball State en Estados Unidos, el 10 de julio de 2019. 
 
La esencia de la pieza brinda un primer movimiento con tono melancólico y un segundo movimiento con un tono mas alegre que expresa esperanza y alegría.
